Blooming Artists, a nonprofit in Olympia, WA, is dedicated to nurturing creativity, boosting confidence, and opening doors to career opportunities. Small, accessible classes, hands-on apprenticeships, and trade-skill development are offered in art, floristry, and photography. The mission focuses on empowering neurodivergent and underprivileged youth in Thurston County by fostering and building-upon their unique talents and providing real-world experience in the creative fields.
In Thurston County, many young people face limited access to non-traditional career paths, often resulting in the pursuit of opportunities elsewhere or disengagement from learning. Since traditional education doesn’t suit everyone, alternative pathways emphasizing creativity and hands-on learning are essential for equipping students with the skills needed to thrive in our community.
By cultivating local talent and offering valuable experiences, Blooming Artists aims to keep students inspired, engaged, and connected. A supportive and inclusive environment helps the next generation explore passions and build meaningful careers.

For High School Students
Unleash your creativity with Blooming Artists! Our nonprofit in Olympia offers hands-on workshops and internships in art, floristry, and photography. Gain real-world experience, develop new skills, and explore exciting career paths, either inside or outside of the standard classroom environment.
For College Students

For Senior Citizens
Embrace lifelong learning with Blooming Artists! Our in-person classes at The Flower & Vine or onsite at your local center offer engaging activities in art and floristry. Connect with others, learn new skills, and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of creativity in a welcoming environment. You may even be able to sell your items as part of our "Senior Center" section in the gift shop!
